Our language arts homework for this week (3/23/2022) is writing 2 or more paragraphs about our opinion about becoming a pirate that we need to put on our blogs so here’s mine:
I would not want to be a pirate because I am not interested in what they do. Also I don’t want to live on a cold ship with no electricity. Being a pirate is also lots of work because you need to repair your ship. People also don’t like pirates that much because pirates steal stuff from them. What if someone were to capture you and send you to jail?. Pirates probably didn’t socialize or have much entertainment too because they were on their ship with their crew a lot . They don’t have electricity so how can they play online games?

Sure it’s sunny and warm in the Caribbean, but what if you get dehydrated or run out of drinking water? Pirates probably didn’t have as yummy foods and sweets like us. Even if they did cooking might be hard because you could burn the ship. Finding ingredients would also be hard if you’re in the sea a lot. In addition, being in the sea is dangerous because you could run into a shark or other dangers.
